Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Okamanja Lodge. The room was so cute and beautifully decorated, very cozy and comfortable, and the lobby was just as lovely, with great attention to detail and a warm atmosphere. One of the most magical parts of the stay was being welcomed by giraffes every time we passed the gate — truly unforgettable and something you don’t experience every day! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A very special thank you to Frieda, the chef, who was absolutely amazing. Her food was delicious, and her warmth and kindness made us feel completely at home. A peaceful, beautiful place surrounded by nature — we would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling through Namibia.

Negative: I booked at this lodge twice. I gave my honest opinion about my personal experience. There after the owner of the Lodge wrote to me demanding that I edit my review because i am not telling the truth. The road inside the lodge is having dead wood and rocks that are sticking out and I drove over one of those which caused a Tyre puncture. I was later assisted by his staffs to change it. It’s sad that the Owner came in my inbox to harass me and accuse me of lying. One of his staff told me that the customers have been complaining for a while now.

Positive: Friendly Host and Stuffs were friendly. Frieda and Alloycs are doing a great job. The place was extremely clean

Negative: The road to the Lodge is quite bad. I got a Tyre puncture. No coffee and tea facilities in the rooms.

Summary: Beautiful but the dead wood and stones need to be removed from the road urgently
